A Christ-centered, Women-focused Ministry

We realize that a woman will not care how much we know, until she knows how much we care.  Because the Gospel is the heartbeat of APRC, we share it in both word and deed knowing that Jesus Christ is the answer for every person in any situation. Therefore, APRC is a place of compassionate care in which staff and volunteers are eager to assist our clients so they are equipped to choose life for their babies and have real hope for their futures.

History

In response to the soaring abortion rate in DeKalb County and the limited resources that offer alternatives, the Atlanta Pregnancy Resource Centers, Inc. was launched in 2005.  By March of 2007, the Center opened its doors on LaVista Road in the Northlake area and became a mission outpost to reach the many women and families in the community that face the pressures and uncertainties of pregnancy-related circumstances.

Atlanta Pregnancy Resource Centers, Inc. is a non-profit, charitable organization governed by a Board of Directors and is a ministry of the Atlanta Association of Southern Baptist Churches.  The Center is funded through the gifts and contributions of individuals, churches and foundations.  APRC affiliations include Care Net, NIFLA and NAMB. 

Purpose

The purpose of APRC is to promote the sanctity, dignity and worth of all human lives.  The ministry stands upon biblical principles in educating and informing individuals making decisions related to pregnancy, family and relationships.  While providing spiritual truth, emotional support and tangible assistance, APRC encounters opportunities for sharing the grace and gospel of Jesus Christ.
